Kristina Schuman

Kristina is a co-founder of InclusiveEDU and a Board-Certified Educational Therapist with over 15 years of experience in specialized academic instruction. Having served as a Learning Specialist at a leading private school and a resource specialist supporting diverse learning needs, Kristina has a deep understanding of how to bridge the gap between a student’s current skills and the increasing demands of their school curriculum.

She holds a Master’s degree and teaching credential in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University.

Kristina’s expertise lies in her remarkable academic range and her ability to adapt complex material for any learner. She is equally skilled at building foundational literacy and mathematics as she is at scaffolding secondary and college-level coursework. Whether a student is working on early decoding or navigating the rigors of High School and College-level English, Science, History, and Math, Kristina integrates executive functioning support to help them build the structure and independence they need to succeed.

Beyond her work with students, Kristina is a highly effective advocate for families. She is an expert in navigating the IEP and 504 plan process, helping parents understand psychoeducational evaluations and ensuring that school-based supports are tailored to their child’s unique profile. Her goal is to ensure that every student—from kindergarten through college—is empowered with the tools and confidence to thrive in any academic setting.
